Blanchard prepared spaghetti and meatballs for supper, and Urker awarded it a perfect score of ten.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 33 is commemorating another significant milestone in her relationship with her partner, Ken Urker, by indulging in a romantic home-cooked meal.
In a YouTube video posted on Friday, Aug. 30, the 33-year-old heroine of The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up announced to her followers that she was preparing Urker dinner for the first time. The video was also highlighted on TikTok.
“So, tonight I am cooking dinner for Ken,” she told the camera in the YouTube video. “This is the first time that I will be cooking a dinner for him. Usually, he’s the one that’s always cooking for me.”
“He is currently at work and is unaware that I am organizing a romantic dinner for him tonight,” she stated of Urker. She then disclosed that she was in the process of preparing spaghetti and meatballs, demonstrating the recipe she was following from a book.

Blanchard disclosed that she preferred to consume spaghetti with “Lit’l Smokies” cocktail sausages subsequent to demonstrating a pan of meatballs that were simmering on the range. Consequently, she maintained a distinct receptacle for her dish.
As evidenced by video footage from Urker’s kitchen, she also had “creole seasoning” with bell pepper and onion, a container of Prego sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes with green chiles, and seasonings for the sauce.
Blanchard recorded a sped-up rendition of the sauce’s preparation before relocating the camera to a bedroom, where he conversed while arranging laundry.
The expectant mother disclosed to the camera that she was organizing a “romantic night” for Urker due to his “amazing” behavior during her pregnancy.
Blanchard continued, “I want him to be happy and I want him to want to be with me,“. She then proceeded to recount a lengthy narrative about the couple’s initial encounter while she was incarcerated, as well as the numerous challenges they have faced both together and apart.
At the end of the video, Urker appeared to provide his perspective on his girlfriend’s first romantic dinner.
“I’m excited to try [Gypsy’s] cooking, it’s really hot though,” he said before his first bite.
“It’s very good, very good,” Urker announced after a forkful of spaghetti. “10 out of 10.”
In early August, Blanchard captured yet another food milestone when she attempted Starbucks’ pumpkin spice lattes for the first time. In August she shared new updates as she entered in fifth month of pregnancy.
“Now maybe if it was a cold day, the warm would be better, but it is Southern Louisiana, so I do like the iced better,” she said after trying both varieties.
Blanchard, who was a victim of Munchausen by proxy, was sentenced to eight years of a ten-year penitentiary term for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. In 2022, she married Ryan Anderson while incarcerated and applied for divorce in April. Blanchard and Urker disclosed the first pregnancy on July 9.
