Mini LED’s are a new technological display that allows users for a high-end presentation. They are the latest development in backlighting technology. As the name suggests, they are a lot smaller than regular LED’s. It promises improved contrast ratios and deeper blacks compared to LCD panels that are lit with regular LEDs (light-emitting diodes).
Apple’s new Pro Display XDR comes somewhere between the traditional LED backlight array and mini-LEDs. It uses 576 LEDs in its backlight array, which is several times that of conventional LED arrays for a display of its size, but still many times fewer than mini-LEDs.
