The three-day destination celebration was attended by Westwick’s former ‘Gossip Girl‘ co-star Kelly Rutherford and model and actress Daisy Lowe.
Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick are married.
The Gossip Girl alum, 37, and the actress, 32, exchanged vows for the second time on Saturday, Aug. 24, during a destination wedding in Italy, following their modest civil ceremony at The Connaught Hotel in London on Aug. 9.
The couple extended an invitation to 220 visitors, who traveled from the United States, India, and various regions of Europe, to participate in a three-day celebration on the Amalfi Coast. Jackson informs that the picturesque region was “the ideal location” for their festivities, citing its “vintage charm and timeless romance.”
“We wanted a wedding spot that was not only naturally beautiful, surrounded by the ocean, hills and vineyards, but also unique, and we found just that,” the Supergirl star adds.
Featuring blue-and-white décor and live Italian music, the cruise sought to relive the evocative grandeur of Capri’s golden era. The couple and their guests sipped on Bellinis and enjoyed a menu of Neapolitan-inspired cuisine, which was supervised by Michelin-starred chef Salvatore Iazzetta of Ristorante Rear in Naples. Additionally, Vero Omakase prepared fresh sushi aboard.
Zucchine alla scapece (zucchini with mint) and melanzane a funghetto (eggplant, tomato, and basil) were among the starters on Iazzetta’s menu. Street food options included deep-fried arancini and pasta fritters. Entrees included citrus risotto and raviolo with cacio ricotta cheese. Desserts included delizia al limone (lemon sponge cake) and fresh fruit.
The pair, who collaborated with Bianco Bouquet and Elite Villas, married in the ancient Castello di Rocca, a hilltop estate with sea views, on Saturday. “It was the perfect setting, offering old-world charm and the ideal backdrop for the classic styles of our Italian designers Giorgio Armani and Alberta Ferretti,” he says.
Federica Sottili of The Blonde Flower helped them decorate the 16th-century location with flowers to give their wedding a homey feel.
“We recently moved into our new home in the British countryside, and our garden brings us so much happiness and peace. We wanted to recreate that enchanted garden feel for our ceremony,” Jackson notes.
“Walking down the aisle felt like stepping into an enchanted world,” Jackson writes, describing how Sottili lined the aisle with white cherry trees surrounded by white flowers.
Westwick’s best man was Jackson’s 4-year-old son Andreas, whom she shares with her ex-husband Andreas Panayiotou, as well as Mike, the actor’s buddy. The James Brown classic “I Got You (I Feel Good),” played by a string quartet, was the soundtrack for the trio’s stroll.
“We both wanted [Andreas] to be an integral part of this special moment,” Westwick — who wore an Armani tuxedo with a white jacket and black pants — tells. “He walked down the aisle with me, carried the rings and waited for his mother with me.”
Adds Jackson, “I think it’s a really beautiful way to honor their bond and make sure he feels part of our celebration.”
The bride wore an Italian designer named Alberta Ferretti, with whom Jackson has worked for years, custom-made gown as she walked down the aisle escorted by flower girls to her favorite song, “Nuvole Bianche” by Ludovico Einaudi. The dress’s mikado fabric was breezy and light, perfect for the summertime heat in Italy.
“The dress Alberta created made me feel like the best version of myself, indulging my hopeless romantic side for the day,” Jackson says, before sharing a favorite detail of her bridal look. “The 15-foot hand-embroidered veil brought me to tears when I first saw it.”
Love for Madame Grès’ draped, sculptural designs inspired Jackson’s second Pronovias Atelier dress for the reception. “By combining a modern embellished corset and diamond rain-like gloves with vintage elements, [it’s] the perfect fusion of past and present,” Jackson said of the gown.

Since she and Westwick did conventional vows in London, they recited handwritten vows. Jackson says, “It felt like the perfect way to share our love story.” “Using our own words allowed us to make personal promises for our future, and also look back on our journey together so far.”
“Even among the 220 guests, it felt like it was just us two in the room,” she adds.
After kissing, the newlyweds left the ceremony to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” with their loved ones dancing behind them.
Everyone put on slippers and walked around the castle walls with flag bearers and musicians after the ceremony. “There was limoncello, dancing, singing and total organized chaos,” joked the actress.
At the reception’s start, live cooking stations including an oyster bar, a vegetarian corner, and a friggitoria served fried pizzas with tomato, basil, and parmesan. Jackson and Westwick bought the wine from Cellole’s Villa Matilde Avallone. Also offered was Johnson Reserve non-alcoholic champagne.
“Great food and drink was a biggie for us — we wanted our guests to leave full and happy,” Westwick notes, adding, “We also wanted to embrace the seasonal produce of the Amalfi Coast and have a unique menu typical of the region.”
A seated supper began with gnocchetti with asparagus and guanciale, date, and caciocavallo fondue and Neapolitan-style escarole with limited anchovy sauce and black truffle. Snapper with scampi and clam guazzetto sauce was the main course.
“It was a feast that truly celebrated the rich flavors of Italian cuisine,” says Westwick.
Pastry expert Damiano Carrara crafted the couple’s five-tier wedding cake with white chocolate, candied flowers, and vanilla Bavarian cream, among other sweets. The pâte à choux biscuit was topped with lychee mousse and raspberry gelée.
Carrara also made strawberry and meringue-inspired chocolates, Westwick’s parents’ favorite, to commemorate them. As a favor, guests received Carole and Peter’s inscribed boxes of sweets.
“I know they’re up there looking down on us and I wanted to have them involved in some way,” Westwick says of his parents.
