On his special day, the UnPrisoned actor also shared a personal tribute by uploading a sentimental throwback video of himself as a youngster with his late father, William John Stamos.

“On my dads lap, at just three years old, ready to make a wish, I swear I could hear my dad’s voice whispering in my ear, ‘You’ll have a charmed life, boy.’ It’s a moment captured on film, one that has stayed with me ever since,” he began in a lengthy but heartfelt Instagram caption.

“Every day feels like a celebration when you’re surrounded by the kind of love I’m blessed with,” Stamos said.

He rounded out his post by noting that he’s thankful for “Every moment, every hug, every laugh.”

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you show me, not just today but every day. You all mean the world to me. XOJS,” the actor concluded.

In the meantime, Stamos disclosed on his Instagram Stories that the cuisine program Is It Cake is one of his preferred television programs that he, McHugh, and their six-year-old son William “Billy” Christopher Stamos have been watching recently.

The Netflix series’ premise is that chefs create hyper-realistic cakes and pastries that elicit the question, “Is it real, or Is it cake?”

Stamos requested that his followers determine which of two drum sets was genuine and which was a confection in order to continue commemorating his birthday.

“Our new tradition is to conduct our own Is It Cake the day before my birthday,” he stated, donning a Pikachu apron with what appeared to be cake mix smeared across his body.

Subsequently, he positioned the drum sets adjacent to one another and conducted a referendum to determine which was a cake.

Stamos joked that the individuals at home voted inaccurately by selecting No. 1, which was an actual drum set, despite the fact that it may have appeared to be an apparent choice.

“You’re wrong! That’s not a cake!” he said laughing as McHugh tried to cut the instrument with a knife from behind the camera. “Can’t believe you guys.”

“This is the cake. You can’t tell?” he said before blowing out his candles.
