There are just a few more serves for Zendaya to deliver on this Challengers press tour before the game is over. Following a string of international performances over the past several weeks, the actress—along with the rest of the cast—arrives in New York City, where she is capping off her collection of tennis-themed ensembles with a slightly unconventional choice.
When Zendaya awoke with the sun to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday, she looked as vibrant and youthful as ever, adorably attired in a custom Erdem gown.
The dress, which was based on an outfit from the British brand’s fall/winter 2024 collection, had a yellow rose design with some deep green line embellishments that gave the otherwise classic item a modern touch. There was a layer of tulle underneath the overskirt, which ended around her knees. Her white “So Kate” Louboutin pumps, of course, finished the look.
And Zendaya was back, already in her second look of the day, before the majority of us had raised our heads off the pillow. The actress wore a vintage Mugler suit that can only be described as “tennis ball green” when she left the GMA studios, right before an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark.

The ensemble included a pencil skirt that fell to the knees, and the jacket had a low-cut neckline without a lapel and an arrow broach adorned with crystals that held the outfit together and gave it a peplum-like flair at the bottom. This time, she exchanged her go-to pair of white heels for their cousins’ identical shoes, which were bright green to go with the suit.
With the Erdem dress, Zendaya transported us to a bygone era of dinner parties and Jell-O molds from the 1950s; with the suit that followed, she transported us even further back in time.
The hue, which is frequently connected with tennis, allowed them to stay within the realm of the movie even if these ensembles gave less overt references to the tennis theme she had been so devoted to throughout the trailer.

All of this is, of course, really building toward the premiere in New York City later this week, which will give Zendaya one last chance to make her mark in the tennis theme dressing industry before she hangs up her racquet forever.
