Altered Carbon season 2 is a cyberpunk series which was dropped on Netflix on 27th of February 2020 along with eight episodes in it. The plotline of the series left viewers with some unanswered questions to be back with Altered Carbon season 6. So many of people are now wondering that Will there be a season 3 of Altered Carbon?
But, unfortunately Netflix has cancelled the third season of Altered Carbon. Moreover, Netflix has not revealed the reason behind the cancellation of Altered Carbon season 3. However the main reason behind the cancellation is due to the increased budget and difficulty in filming during COVID – 19 pandemic.

Will There Be a Season 3 of Altered Carbon?
Well, both the seasons of Altered Carbon has garnered positive reviews. On review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes, the first season has gained an approval rating of 68% which is based in 95 reviews with an average rating of 6.59 whereas the second season has received an approval rating of 83% which is based on 35 reviews and an average rating of 7.16 out of 10.
Numerous fans are wondering that Altered Carbon season 3 would be released in 2022 as there was a gap of two years between the first and second seasons. The series takes place over 360 years in the future along with many episodes the first season set in the year 2384 in a futuristic metropolis and it is known as Bay City.
The last moments of Altered Carbon season 2 gave strong hints that there was still more story to tell regarding Quell and Kovacs. The second season also dropped some great insights into Elder technology and the offspring roost.
Viewers wants to see a proper ending for Takeshi Kovacs which was played by numerous actors. They want to know more about Elder technology. But there will be no Altered Carbon seaon3. Therefore for knowing the end of the story fans could read the book on which the series is based.
Altered Carbon series is based on the novel with same name which was launched in 2002. That book was followed by the sequels Broken Angels and Woken Furies.
