They referred to his demise as a “untimely death,” and they described it as a “tragic loss.” It was rumoured that Taylor Hawkins was preparing to perform at the Lollapalooza Brazil festival on March 27 in Bogota, Colombia, before the band’s headlining act at the festival on March 28.
Although it is not clear how Hawkins died, according to local press reports, he was discovered dead in a hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, where the band had been scheduled to perform at a festival, according to the Mirror.
Hawkins’ death came just months after the death of Screaming Trees singer Mark Lanegan, who died at the age of 57 in February. Meat Loaf, a singer and actor, was another star who passed away after suffering from health problems for years.
