Plot Of The Movie

At the core of “The Exorcist” lies a gripping and unsettling narrative. Young Father named Lankester Merrin, takes part in an archaeological excavation site in East Africa to excavate a church that has been found completely buried in sand. Once a man of God, he lost faith in God after he saw heinous things during World War II in his native Holland. Father Francis and a missionary doctor Sarah, accompany him and unearth an old Christian Byzantine church. It is surprisingly intact as if it were buried right after its completion. 

However, inexplicable tragedies strike innocent people, and they become vessels of pure evil. Merrin soon discovers that an ancient evil force has been set free due to the excavation.
