Plot and Story of the Haunting of Hill House
The Crain siblings reunited with their estranged father after 26 years of a traumatic living experience in the Hill House. They are forced to confront their darkest time at the hill house and open up how it affected them. The backstory is set in the summer of 1992.
Hugh and Olivia Crain, along with their five children- Steven, Shirley, Theodora, Luke, and Eleanor, moved to a new house. The primary intention was to renovate the house to flip it. But due to unexpected circumstances, their stay was extended. Unusual activities started and made their lives a menace. The family had to flee the house after losing Olivia in the house.
In the first episode, Nell has died. Nell was in a state of grief after her husband died. Nell’s future spirit has been haunting her since childhood. Theodora is sensitive ( she can sense people and things feeling by touching them) and is a child therapist. Luke and Nell were twins and could sense each other pain and diseases. Hugh confesses everything to them and reconciles with his remaining kids. All of them are reunited at the Hill house, and Nell’s ghost reveals that the Red Rom is the stomach of the house. Hugh committed suicide to be with Olivia, as Olivia trapped all of them there.
