Plot Of Hubie Halloween

The film is set in a small town of Salem, Massachusetts. The film revolves around Hubie, a kind but dim-witted man. He is the constant target of the locals. His classmates, co-workers and other people of the town love to prank him and mock him. He never minds any of those pranks, but he is very considerate about the security of the town. He is always nagging at the police officers of the town. Annoyed police sergeants Steve Downey recruited him as an “AUU” (auxiliary undercover unit). Hubie believes this assignment is genuine, but it is really just something Steve tells Hubie in hopes it will refrain Hubie from bothering him. Hubie meets his new neighbour Walter, who thinks himself to be a werewolf.
He goes to a party for Halloween to monitor it. He goes into a cornfield to find a lost child. But this is a prank. His young co-worker Mike also follows him, not to help him but to scare him. Mike is kidnapped in front of Hubie’s eyes. After a series of pranks, many of the locals started disappearing. Sgt Downey plans to cancel Halloween as a safety measure.
Many requests are forwarded to DJ Aurora for playing a song for Hubie. A burner phone locates the kidnapper. The kidnapper is none other than Hubie’s mother. She wanted all of them to teach a lesson for teasing her son. Hubie saves all of them. But everyone is ungrateful. The mamma steps in and scolds everyone for their mockery.
