Plot Of The Movie

Chris Washington, a young African-American photographer, has reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating his girlfriend Rose. He reluctantly agrees to meet Rose’s family on the weekend. Chris finally meets Rose’s mother, a psychiatrist who specializes in hypnosis, and her father, a neurosurgeon. Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship.

He soon realizes that the family is surrounded by black servants in the total privacy of their magnificent, yet secluded estate in the woods. Chris witnesses strange behavior from the estate’s black workers: mhousekeeper Georgina and groundskeeper Walter. Soon a series of events lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined. Cast And Ensemble

In the film, Daniel Kaluuya was cast as Chris Washington along with Allison Williams as Rose Armitage.  Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener were the on-screen parents of Rose as Dean Armitage and  Missy Armitage.
