Personal life
Bruce Bochy, the third of four children, has an impressive baseball legacy. His older brother, Joe, was a catcher and scout, while Bochy himself has made a significant mark in the sport. He met his wife, Kim Seib, at Brevard Community College in 1975, and they married in 1978. The couple resides in Poway, California, and Nashville, Tennessee, and they have two sons, Greg and Brett. Greg played minor league baseball for the Padres, and Brett was drafted by the Giants in 2010, making Bruce the seventh MLB manager to manage his own son.
Known for his unusually large hat size, Bochy’s career includes health challenges such as angioplasty and heart procedures. He has received notable honors, including the Ronald L.
