WhatsApp Beta is where the users can experience all the upcoming features for its original App. Some of the previous beta versions showed some upcoming features for WhatsApp. After all, most of them came into the application. Few of them include multi-device support, Facebook story sharing, expiring messages, animated stickers, dark theme, etc. Now, the new WhatsApp Beta v2.20.171 came with a new feature that allows QR codes for profiles.
However, the feature is a server-side update. So, you need to be in beta version v2.20.171 to make use of it. Every user profile will get a QR Code that can be shared with other users. A user can simply scan and add that contact into their contacts. After all, everything around WhatsApp runs with a phone number. So, it is the only thing needed to add a contact into your phone.
