After an awesome season 1, Virgin River is all set to release its second season on Netflix. In the announcement, Netflix confirmed its tentative release date.
That’s not it. Along with this, we found the new cast members who’ll join the existing Virgin River cast.
Now, for all those of you who don’t know a thing about the Virgin River series. It’s a Netflix Original romantic-drama series. This type of Netflix series somewhat similar to that of Hallmark’s When Calls The Heart. Now that you’ve got the basic idea of the Virgin River tv-series, let’s jump ahead to find its production status, exact release date & new cast members.
Virgin River season 2 Production & Renewal Status
Last year, right after Virgin River Season 1, Netflix renewed the romance drama series for the second season. Its filming had started on September 9th of 2019 (even before the release of 1st season) and concluded on December 17th of 2019.
Once again, filming took place in Vancouver in Canada despite being set in rural California, USA.
Virgin River Season 2 Netflix Release Date
When the production of Birgin River Season 2 was in the initial phase, we got to know its release schedule.
Virgin River Season 2 is scheduled to release sometime in Fall 2020. However, now Netflix has confirmed its release date.
It’ll air all of its episodes on November 27th, 2020. That was not it.
Then came a tease along with it –
“Engagement. Babies. Heartbreak. Murder. For a small town, Virgin River has its fair share of drama — and Mel Monroe is often in the middle of it.”

Final Words
Akin to Virgin River Season 2, season 1 will have 10 episodes. In case you don’t know, this series is based on the Virgin River book series by Robyn Carr. Season 2 is set to consist of 10 episodes as per the previous season.
By the end of this month, the author will release the next chapter (Return to Virgin River) in the Virgin River Novel Series.
