In the long list of movies that are delaying their release this year. Top Gun’s highly anticipated sequel is one of them. Top Gun: Maverick has already faced years of delay to come on screen, 30+ years after the first one. However, it is facing the same threat again, but this time due to the coronavirus.

Plot Of The Movie

Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is now an instructor in the same school he was a student in the first movie. He is training new aviator candidates, one of whom is Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), Goose’s son.

The Navy, which was not at war at the point in the first movie, has now been at war for 20 years after the first movie. As far as the plot is concerned, director Konsinki says that they can’t remake the first movie, but only adapt to it. Therefore, one can suspect that US and Russian relations are getting sketchy in the film.
