The offer from the stranger for Chise was to see her life at an auction. When her soul is auctioned, she bought by the powerful and strong sorcerer Elias Ainsworth. He decided to make Chise his pupil and bride.
Definitely, the anime is not for kids as there are so many events in the show that are very cruel and bold. The sorcerer’s intentions are very hard headed, but the girl has a short temper. This anime is not based on the fairytales where the prince and the princess fall in love with each other with happy ending.
