The death has occurred of Bella Thomson, who was known as Bella Brave inside her online community. She was ten years old.
The social media celebrity passed away “peacefully” on Sunday, July 14, according to her mother Kyla Thomson, who confirmed the news in a deeply painful update that was published on TikTok on July 15.

Kyla reaffirmed her hope that Bella’s followers will continue to discuss how the 10-year-old’s experience has impacted their lives in a statement that she issued to PEOPLE.
“Without her, everything is made more difficult,” Kyla explains. “I need them to share with us how Bella touched their lives, how she helped them, or how she continues to live on in their hearts and lives. Please assist me in letting the world know that I need them to do this.”
Continuing, she says, “Don’t ever stop sharing her love and light with others.” Do not allow her memories to ever get hazy. For the sake of her, continue to be courageous, draw closer to God, and love each other with all your heart. She is fierce, despite the fact that she is only a child.
How did Bella Brave become famous on social media?
Bella’s parents, Kyla and Lyle, documented her life-threatening health struggles, including the rare intestinal sickness Hirschsprung’s disease and severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), among other health issues. At the same time, Bella showcased her colorful personality on social media, which caused her to go viral.

Bella, who was ten years old at the time of her death, was placed in a medically induced coma after experiencing problems from a viral infection in her lungs, Kyla stated in an interview on July 11 regarding the circumstances of Bella’s passing.
“We are, of course, gutted for Bella. Her bowel transplant last August was supposed to be the last medical trauma she would ever have to endure,” Kyla said. “We are not out of the woods.”
“She sailed through that recovery faster than any child with a bowel transplant has, and finally she could be free of hospital stays,” she added.
During the time that Bella was being held at the SickKids hospital in Toronto, Kyla provided an update in a video that was uploaded on TikTok on July 11. She stated that Bella remained “stable with no improvement.”
In a further update that Kyla posted on Instagram on Sunday, July 14, she stated that Bella “is still with us and she is still fighting.” However, she also added, “I don’t know which way things are going to go.”

PEOPLE questioned the young TikTok star about her ideas on Heaven before she began to experience a decrease in her health. Bella made the following statement at the time: “Heaven is a large castle made of clouds, and it has a lot of clouds.” There would be God present.
“She was fearless,” Kyla adds. “What ever she faced I never saw fear in her. She taught me bravery.”
No funeral plans for Bella have been shared at this time.
