The premiere season of Netflix’s The Stranger enticed its audience with its excellent storytelling. The dark tone replete with the thriller elements were enough to make audiences want more. And although the show has seemingly run out of source material, there is hope that given the show’s reception that Netflix will have the show return for a second outing.
Netflix has a history of stretching the source material long beyond the original author’s vision. For one, their controversial show 13 Reasons Why will soon return for its final season. The show has progressively become worse with each new outing, so here’s hoping that The Stranger doesn’t suffer the same fate if it does come back.

The Stranger Season 2 Is Anyone’s Guess
In an interview with Digital Spy, Harlan Coben revealed that the show was created the show to be one season. He then also went on to reveal that “We don’t think it’s fair to have one of those shows where they don’t give you all the answers, and you have to wait until season two before you get it. This is a closed story. You learned all the answers by the end, and the ending is tremendously satisfying.”
