Of course, there won’t be The Sandman without casting Tom Sturridge as Morpheus. The actor has already garnered major appreciation from the fans and his performance has already found great feedback. In the second season, he will be coming back and making more things for himself.

The Sandman Season 2 Plot: What Can We Expect with it?
At the end of the first season, fans saw how things unwind and make sense. We further find out that Lucifer was already planning to overthrow the throne. We already saw how fans had already witnessed the true intentions of Desire and Despair in the first season.

There are huge chances that this two team or to throw Morpheus out of the throne. However, we are still unsure how the officials are trying to make the story twisted and how much they are going to accept from the novel series. There is no official synopsis that we can put in and make it work.
We further see how things were happening between Nada and Morpheus. After attempting suicide, Morpheus already sees her as a betrayal and gave her harsh punishment, In the second season, things will change and we will find out what exactly happens between the two.
