The Northman was shooted in Belfast and the North Coast, in the month of August, 2020. But the development process started in December 2019. Though the film suffered a backlash due to COVID-10 restrictions and guidelines, it did not affect much.
The filming also included locations of Northern Ireland and Malin. The filming process was finally concluded in early December 2020. And now they are working on the post-production processes to finally enhance the visuals in The Northman.
