A Glance At The Backdrop

Previously we got to know the cast. Now let’s check out the COMPELLING STORYLINE of the movie. An ancient princess is unknowingly awakened from her tomb beneath the desert in present-day Iraq, bringing malevolence and terror back to the world. Princess Ahmanet, played by Sofia Boutella, is back for vengeance for mummifying her alive. Get into the FBI corridors with Mindhunter and explore the dark human psychology.

Ahmanet is not just a curse-bound creature; she is a force of nature, a symbol of unbridled power and ambition. Nick Morton with Jenny and soldiers takes the mummy to present-day London. Meanwhile, a tomb of a knight is discovered by the construction workers in London. The knight has a ruby which happens to be the key to unleashing ultimate terror and agony in the mortal world. The Nick-Jenny partnership is the highlight of the film. Following a series of events, Both Nick and Chris died.

THE MUMMY (2017) - A PERFECT BLEND OF ANCIENT EVIL AND MODERN ADVENTURE

Nick is brought back to life in a morgue, however, Chris happens to become a ghost. Ahmanet’s mummy escapes from her coffin and begins feeding on people to regenerate her body, turning them into zombies. She gets her hands on the Dagger of Set, only to realize that the ruby is not attached to it as she attempts to stab Nick. She and her zombie army chase after Nick and Jenny until soldiers appear and subdue her.

The plot twist is very unexpected. Jenny is an undercover agent of Prodigium, a secret society dedicated to hunting supernatural threats. Ahmanet creates a large sandstorm in London and regains the dagger along with the ruby in order to free Set. Guided by Chris’s ghost, Nick and Jenny closely escape death. Jenny is drowned to death by Ahmanet but later is resurrected.

Set begins to take over Nick but as he looks at Jenny’s dead body, Nick regains control after remembering her and uses Set’s powers to destroy Ahmanet’s. The last part of the movie shows that Ahmanet is sealed back in her tomb. Nick returns to the desert and resurrects Chris. The two go on an adventure to Egypt, hoping to find a cure to remove the curse.
