As the featured individual on the cover of this year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 issue, Kendall Jenner is met with considerable disapproval from her admirers.

The significant development was disclosed on Tuesday, November 28th, when the model utilized Instagram to display the magazine photograph of her countenance. “Many thanks, many thanks,” she partially captioned the photo.

Despite the fact that being included in Forbes’ annual roundup is a tremendous achievement in and of itself, certain social media users found it difficult to accept her selection, particularly for the cover, on account of her celebrity status, familial background, and stable financial situation. An item on the vetting process for the coveted spots was criticized in a highly-liked comment, which proposed the creation of a distinct list catering to the offspring of successful individuals. “In response to the petition for 30 under 30 to compile their own inventory of nepo babies, none of you submitted anything. They pointed out that “some of these ordinary, hardworking people would have solved the world’s greatest problems with a tenth of the resources Kendall has always had.”

Someone else called her a “average nepo,” and a third said, “Ugh, no, doesn’t count.”

Some people liked the award, though, writing, “Some of you are haters. Many wealthy people, even with all their money and help, still can’t get things done. “It Girl, you know you’re that girl👏🔥” and “I’m all for young women making waves ❤️”

At the same time, some people brought up Kris Jenner, the famous momager who is largely in charge of all of her kids’ successful jobs. It was said that “Momma made it,” and someone else added, “Mom has the golden touch of Midas.”

People didn’t like the magazine when Kendall’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner, covered the World’s Billionaires list issue and was called the “youngest ever self-made billionaire” in 2019 for her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics. Some of the other people in the 30 Under 30 list are writer Jordan E. Cooper, rapper Latto, energy lister Brennan Spellacy, and Kendall.

Chief Editor of Forbes Under 30 Kristin Stoller said, “This is one of the most diverse and ambitious Under 30 classes to date, especially in terms of the scope of their work and the impact of their leadership.” Most of them are company founders or cofounders, but artists and entertainers are also making a name for themselves by building their brands in areas other than art.
