Taylor Swift announces on her Instagram story on this International Women’s Day about her way of paying tribute to all the female artists in the industry. Swift writes on her Instagram story,
“In honor of International Women’s Day, I’m changing out my playlist to songs I’m loving right now by female artists and bands”
The singer states that she has updated her playlist on Apple Music named Playlist by ME! Along with the post, Taylor also includes a direct link to the playlist.
Songs Taylor Swift Introduces In Her Updated Playlist
In the playlist, we see songs by various female artists- solo or band. Taylor Swift includes 28 songs in the playlist. The first song that starts off the playlist is Taylor’s recent Super hit, The Man.
The song, as we know is a grand gesture towards women’s struggle. Along with her own, Taylor adds songs by MUNA, Grimes, H.E.R., Christine and the Queens, Yebba.
We also have Caroline Polachek’s Door and Beabadoobee’s She Plays Bass. Princess Nokia, HAIM, Oh Wonder, Phoebe Bridgers and LÉON are also a part of the playlist.
Official by Charli XCX and Backseat Charli Adams feature in the playlist. Celeste, MARINA, Kesha, LUME, Daya, Brittany Howard, King Princess are all part of the update that Taylor introduces.

On 8th March, 2020 Taylor Swift makes this announcement regarding a tribute playlist update. She uses the Glitter filter from Instagram to make the announcement. Along with the news of the update Taylor also writes,
“Let’s all celebrate together by honoring the women in our lives and the women out there pushing things forward. One way to move forward is by making art, which is what these artists have done”
