At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night (April 1), Taylor Swift won three awards: artist of the year, pop artist of the year, and favorite tour style. Although the 34-year-old pop sensation was not present in person at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre, she made a moving virtual acceptance speech.

In a video that was shown during the event, Swift declared, “It’s completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, and what music you want to make the soundtrack to your life.” “Thank you very much to everyone who included me in their selections. There are so many fascinating things in store for us. In addition to carrying on with the tour, my most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, will be released on April 19.
“Thank you for voting for me to receive this amazing honor, artist of the year,” she said in closing. We have a lot of great things coming soon, so I can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys. I’m really grateful and amazed by this.
The Tortured Poets Department will be Swift’s first album of original songs since Midnights, released in October 2022 and nominated for best pop vocal album and album of the year at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Along with re-releasing Speak Now and 1989 (Taylor’s Version), she also started her career-spanning Eras Tour in 2023.
The artist has previously revealed the track listing and three separate versions of the 16-track album, called “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” and “The Albatross,” each of which features a unique extra track. Two significant collaborations are featured on the Tortured Poets Department tracklist: Post Malone, whose name appears on track one, “Fortnight,” and Florence + The Machine on track eight, “Florida!!!”
