Apart from Damon Gupton, Pedro Correa, Madhulika Krishnan, and Jahking Guillory, the picture features Kasey Inez. Its next showing is set for the Black Girls Rock! Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 21–23.
Denver was going through a period of severe crime in 1993 sometimes referred to as the summer of bloodshed. The movie centers on a teenage poet who uses her writing to voice opposition to the city’s bloodshed.
