On January 23, 2019, the ninth and final season of the American courtroom drama Suits was commissioned. And that’s how the fans got excited for it! So, here I bring some bunch of information that you need to know regarding the Suits Web Series.
Aaron Korsh conceived and wrote the American legal drama television series Suits. Universal Cable Productions produced the series, which premiered on USA Network on June 23, 2011. On September 25, 2019, the series came to an end.
Suits is set in a fictional New York City law office and follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a smart college dropout who begins working as a legal associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) despite never having attended Harvard Law School.
The show revolves around Harvey and Mike solving cases while keeping Mike’s identity hidden. Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), and Jessica Pearson are also featured in the programme (Gina Torres).
Harvey Specter, one of New York’s greatest lawyers, hires Mike Ross, a promising young college dropout, as an associate. They have to handle cases while keeping Mike’s credentials hidden.
Due to the notion of the underhanded techniques they have been involved with for years, Faye Richardson, a special master from the bar, is dispatched to oversee the firm. Faye is on a mission to undermine and ruin the firm, but she has a few skeletons in her closet that she can use against her.
Louis marries Sheila, Sheila gives birth to their baby, Harvey marries Donna, and they all relocate to Seattle to be with Mike and Rachel. Louis promotes Katrina to partner and continues to run the firm, which is now known as Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett.
- Gabriel Macht as Harvey Reginald Specter: The self-proclaimed “best closer in the city” and Jessica Pearson’s right-hand.
- Patrick J. Adams as Michael James “Mike” Ross (main seasons 1–7; recurring season 9): Mike was hired by Harvey Specter to be his personal associate, despite not having a license to practice law.
- Rick Hoffman as Louis Marlowe Litt: Louis had a grudge against Harvey Specter, but they later became best friends.
- Meghan Markle as Rachel Elizabeth Zane (main seasons 1–7): Rachel is the daughter of Robert Zane, one of the best lawyers in the city.
- Sarah Rafferty as Donna Roberta Paulsen: Harvey Specter’s former secretary and confidante.
- Gina Torres as Jessica Lourdes Pearson (main seasons 1–7): Jessica Pearson co-founded Pearson Hardman with Daniel Hardman.
- Amanda Schull as Katrina Amanda Bennett (recurring seasons 2–7; main seasons 8–9): A former fifth-year associate hired by Harvey and later Louis’ personal associate.
- Dulé Hill as Alex Williams (recurring season 7; main seasons 8–9): Harvey’s old friend who was a partner at Bratton Gould.
- Katherine Heigl as Samantha Wheeler (main seasons 8–9): A talented new partner at Zane Specter Litt, previously known as Robert Zane’s “right-hand man”.
To date there are altogether 9 seasons of Suits Web Series. Suits broadcast 134 episodes over nine seasons, between June 23, 2011, and September 25, 2019.
Everything in this collection is up to par. Nobody in the world could have done a greater job than them, from storyline to screenplay to execution of all emotional, dramatic, hatred, loving, romantic, passionate situations and each character in the firm that simply says “in each screenplay.”
Rather than the main cast there are a slew of additional characters who are deserving of applause. There are numerous villains that have excelled in their roles, and you will be left wondering how the firm will handle the issue that arises from their own deeds when they are screwed by the villains.
This series is not only entertaining, but it also teaches a great deal in each episode.
Currently you will be able to watch the Suits on Netflix streaming platform. Get your subscription and enjoy the show!
Suits was nominated for multiple accolades during its existence, with Torres and Adams winning individual recognition. Torres received Outstanding Performance in a Television Series at the 2013 NHMC Impact Awards, in addition to two nominations for her work as a supporting actress.
At the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Adams was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. The show received two People’s Choice Award nominations. The show’s success produced a short-lived spin-off, Pearson, which premiered alongside the last season of Suits on July 17, 2019, and focused on Jessica Pearson’s foray into Chicago politics.
Despite the fact that it was a spin-off and followed in the footsteps of Suits, the show did not succeed. The play seemed to focus more on politics, and without the brilliant ensemble, the crowd didn’t seem to appreciate it as much. After one season, it was cancelled. As a result, there will be no season 10 of Suits.
Suits Season 9 has got a lot more to be explored. And soon we will come up with something more about it and other entertainment! Until then stay up with us.
