Spotify: Spotify Is Testing Video Podcasts

David Mudd

Spotify is one of the best and hassle-free music streaming platforms. It has a significantly large user base, and it continues to update the features at regular intervals.

The new and exciting features of the app give the users an exciting experience. And recently, Spotify is going to add yet another function. Here is all you know to need about it!

The Feature (Spotify)

Video Podcasts. Yes, you read it right. Now the platform will enable the video podcasts option. It has also come to light that two of the most renowned Youtubers will be testing this feature.

Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar are the incredible hosts of the show Zane and Heath: Unfiltered. They will be uploading the video on the platform to check if the feature is working alright. The existing viewers of the show will watch the podcast.

There has not been any official confirmation or statement from Spotify on this matter. They will declare the feature officially once the testing has been completed.

More Updates!

It wasn’t a very big of a surprise when the word spread because Spotify had recently purchased The Ringer. It is a streaming platform with a wide variety and multitude of shows. The videos will appear on the bottom of the screen, and the user has to tap on it to watch the video.

A drawback of this is that the video will not be translated into other languages. However, Spotify is working on that as well.

Due to the pandemic, the majority of the world is staying indoors and are interested in podcasts. So we are assuming that the turn out of the users is going to be a significantly large number.
