Group Session is a new feature added to Spotify. It will allow multiple users to listen to music together. This means they can share the music in same place. Besides, it allows all the users in the group can control the music been played. After all, a small problem is there that all the members needed to be a premium member to use the feature.

This will give a party vibe to the users and can create collaborative playlists. Beyond all, the feature makes sense in this kind of situation in which families and mates are in quarantine. Now you can play music together and keep connected with your beloved people in a virtual world.

How To Use The Feature In Spotify

Like any other group activity, this one also has a Host. The Host can use the Connect menu at the bottom-left corner of the screen. Then share a scannable code appear on the screen. All the invited guests can join through that host’s code. After all, there they are connected in a group can listen to the music.

All the members are able to use built-in controls of Spotify. They will be able to play, pause, skip select tracks and playlists,  etc. Above all, all the changes made by any of the members will be shown to all the members. Al already allowed group feature has many limitations. But this time it is different. Members have more freedom in the controls now.
