The Tennessee Titans will be the opponent of the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 8.
Simone Biles celebrated the start of the NFL regular season by sending a heartfelt message to her spouse, Jonathan Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears.
With only six days remaining until the Bears’ match against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Sept. 8, Biles, 27, shared an Instagram Stories tribute to the NFL star, writing, “see you in a few weeks 🤍🤧.”
The gymnast posted the message together with two Polaroid photographs of her and her spouse, 29, depicting them in front of a light blue wall.
He reciprocated the affection by sharing the post on his Instagram account and adding the hashtag “❤️🤞🏽.”
Biles’ schedule will resume with her participation in the Gold Over America Tour, despite the fact that it has been nearly a month since she concluded her historic performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, during which she earned four medals and became the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history.
The tour, which is set to commence in Oceanside, California on Monday, Sept. 16, will showcase Biles and a variety of other gymnasts, including Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera. According to the tour’s website, the performers will deliver “awe-inspiring athleticism and high-energy choreography with an inspirational message of hope, strength, resilience, and determination.”

Even though it ends on Sunday, Nov. 3, Biles will have a full schedule for the first few weeks of the NFL season.
But she and her spouse are accustomed to long-distance relationships.
In September of last year, Biles revealed in an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show that they “started long-distance less than a week” following their destination wedding in May 2023 in Cabo San Lucas. This was their second marriage after getting married legally in April. The reason for this was Owens signing a contract with the Green Bay Packers, Biles’ former team.
“Right after Cabo, he went to Green Bay and signed, and two days later, he was up there, so it’s been different,” she said. “At least we’re both busy and focusing on our respective sports. It’s been nice.”
Jonathan Owens said he likes being each other’s greatest “cheerleader” in July.
“I love watching [it] from an athlete’s perspective because that’s how you’d be great in any sport, is just being consistent and doing the same thing consistently good every day,” he said. “You know what I mean? I love to watch it and I love to be out there and be a cheerleader.”
