Samsung: The Leading Smartphone Manufacturer Might Start Showing Ads In Some Models

Some new reports suggest that Samsung is planning to start showing ads in some of its smartphone models. This is expected to start with the new One UI which is going to be the next version of Samsung UI. Meanwhile, this may be an experiment or not. Neither or nor this will be implemented by the company to stop the momentum of rising costs of smartphones.

A reader shared an image with Tizen Help suggests this. After all, the leaked image from the next model of Samsung’s Android skin One UI 2.5. The image shared shows a screenshot of the lock screen of a Samsung UI. Which includes an advertisement. You have to wait for 15 seconds to complete the ad timer or can tap on the ad.

Some of the rival brands of Samsung already did this in their models. One brand which normally shows ads is Xiaomi. Moreover, it is one of the most irritating things that people hate in it. Although Samsung can’t do that because of they did it. Because the entry-levels of Xioami smartphones are far cheaper in price than the Samsung.

The lower price and high specifications are the one thing that people gets attracted to those models. However, it is not sure that if Samsung will do this in their models. If it happens then all those who hate will be pressured to buy flagship models. The company will not implement the ads on flagship models.
