Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are reportedly engaged and planning to tie the knot.
We have received confirmation from a number of reliable sources that the long-time pair tied the knot on Thursday night in Los Angeles.
There were around sixty people there, and they included celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Kathy Hilton.
Spears went down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” while wearing a gown designed by the renowned fashion brand Versace, according to several reports.

“I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way,” Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen, told PEOPLE after the ceremony. “I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together.”
An informant divulged before to the celebrations that Spears, who is now 40 years old, had been daydreaming about her wedding day for about nine months.
“Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged in November,” the insider said. “It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect.”
A lawyer for Kevin Federline told PEOPLE on Thursday that his client’s two boys, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, did not attend the wedding but that they are “glad” for their mother. Sean Preston is 16 years old and Jayden James is 15 years old.
The first time that Spears and Asghari were linked romantically was while they were working together on the music video for “Slumber Party” by Spears. Spears subsequently disclosed the information in a radio interview in the year 2017, stating that it took approximately “five months” for her and Asghari, 28, to reconcile following the video shoot.
“I was like, ‘He was really cute, this guy was really cute,’ so I called him,” she said about digging up his phone number. “He’s just a really fun, funny person.”
Moving forward, the pair made the happy announcement that they were engaged in September of last year, which was several months before her conservatorship was dissolved in November. Brandon Cohen, Asghari’s manager, had previously stated to the publication PEOPLE that he is “happy to celebrate and confirm the engagement.”
After Asghari proposed to Britney at her home in Los Angeles, a source informed that Britney is “ecstatic” about the engagement.
Sawyer, an Australian Shepherd puppy, became part of the family in February when the couple brought him home. “Geez…. can you have two loves of your lives since he is in second place!!!!” Spears blogged about it at the time on her Instagram account.
Spears surprised her followers by showing them how she would have looked on her wedding day while also introducing her pet kitty Wendy.
“Please say hello to Wendy!!!! And yep, you’re looking at the veil that matched my wedding dress !!!” Spears put the caption next to a picture of the cat perched on top of a piece of white tulle fabric.
Previously, Asghari had uploaded a flashback photo of himself and the singer kissing on his Instagram Story. In the photo, she was displaying her jewellery by holding up her ring finger to show off her jewels.
“Our lives has [sic] been a real fairytale. Happy Mother’s Day to you my soon to be queen,” wrote Asghari. Apparently alluding to their nuptials, he continued, “Also the big day has been set! But nobody will know until the day after.”
