Marcello Hernández and Sadie Sink are among the honorees at the event, in addition to the 25-year-old singer.
Sabrina Carpenter just did her makeup so nice.
On Thursday, August 8, the 25-year-old singer of “Please Please Please” made an appearance at Variety’s 2024 Power of Young Hollywood event in Santa Monica, California. She arrived wearing a glittering gold outfit that was just as stunning as her typical beauty appearance.
Carpenter, who was honored at the yearly event with Marcello Hernández and Sadie Sink, sported an exquisite gown with a flowing skirt and a body-hugging corset-like top as she walked the red carpet. There were silver details throughout her outfit as well.

She wore just a few rings as her only accessories, letting her outfit do the talking. Her face was wonderfully framed by her curtain bangs, which were curled into a loose updo in her golden hair.
Naturally, Sabrina Carpenter’s signature makeup completes every look, and this one was no different. The former Disney Channel star looked stunning with her signature flushed cheeks, strong deep red lips, and neutral eye makeup.
Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday in May by dressing in a vibrant yellow minidress, suggesting that yellow is the color of the season. The dress that Kate Hudson wore as Andie Anderson in the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days served as the model for this low-cut neckline and open back style.
The only other difference between Carpenter’s and Hudson’s pieces, outside the daringly shorter length, was that the singer’s had sequin straps and panels that her stylist, Jared Ellner, found on the internet marketplace Depop, which sells vintage and used apparel.
Ellner shared images of Carpenter wearing the dress alongside Hudson’s Andie, who effortlessly wore it. She captioned the post, “Sabrina’s 25th 🥂💛 inspired by the one and only Andie Anderson.”
Carpenter, whose song “Espresso” was the mainstream success of the summer and continues to dominate the charts, recently disclosed that there was “a great deal of uncertainty” regarding its release.
“I was completely alone in wanting to release ‘Espresso.’ Not so much from my immediate team. But when it came to ‘the powers above,’” the singer, who is releasing her sixth studio album Short n’ Sweet later this month, said in a cover story interview on Aug. 6.
She continued: “There was a lot of questioning behind whether it made sense. But they trusted me in the end, and I was happy that I believed in myself at that moment.”
Despite the fact that the singer has been releasing music since her Disney days, her career has experienced a significant surge in the past few months. Last year, she participated in Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which was a resounding success. She is the best friend of Taylor Swift.
She concluded her tenure with the tour in March 2023. Carpenter has emerged as a musical and style figure to watch, further cemented by the publication of “Espresso” and her blossoming relationship with Irish actor Barry Keoghan.
In May, the singer embodied Cinderella at the Met Gala by donning a black strapless Oscar de la Renta gown that boasted a mermaid bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a voluminous light blue satin skirt. Her fashion sense was both charming and whimsical.
Carpenter and Keoghan, both 31, also made their red carpet debuts at the event. A ruffled silk poplin shirt and an olive velvet Burberry velvet jacket, waistcoat, and trousers were donned by the Saltburn star. He supplemented his attire with leather Oxford boots and a black wool top cap.
