In the film Barbie, which will be directed by Greta Gerwig, the leading roles will be played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The forthcoming movie is scheduled to have its debut in the month of July 2023.
On the set of the upcoming live-action Barbie film, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling have been photographed together, and the results look like something out of a neon dreamscape.
The Australian actress, who is 31 years old and plays Barbie in the film directed by Greta Gerwig, was spotted rollerblading around Venice Beach wearing a multicoloured one-piece swimsuit with a matching visor. She also wore hot pink exercise shorts, neon yellow knee pads, and roller blades.
Gosling, who plays Ken and is 41 years old, wore an identical outfit (minus the hot pants) as he and the other actor frolicked around the famous beach while the scene was being filmed.
Will Ferrell, who is 54 years old and is known for his comedic roles, was spotted driving around the set in his own set of wheels while dressed in a sharp suit and a pink tie.
It comes after the first photo of Gosling in character as Ken, which was released by Warner Bros. earlier this month and sparked a heated debate on the internet.
Some supporters preferred Ryan Gosling with a platinum blonde hair colour, while others drew comparisons between him and Ellen DeGeneres and Freddie Prinze Jr.
The production of the movie was first conceived of in 2009, but it didn’t really get off the ground until last year, when Gerwig was hired to direct it.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she stated that she planned to defy people’s expectations.
“People immediately have an idea of, ‘Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is,’ but our goal is to be like, ‘Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted’,” she said.
“If we can do all that and provoke a thoughtful conversation, then we’re really firing on all cylinders.”
‘Barbie’ Stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling Welcome Newcomer America Ferrera to the Cast:
On Friday, America Ferrera arrived at the Barbie set in Los Angeles wearing a vintage striped shirt (June 24).
It’s possible that the 38-year-old actress will be playing another cowgirl Barbie in the film by wearing a classic top and carrying a white cowboy hat in her hand.
With Margot Robbie in a bright pink jumpsuit bursting into tears and Ryan Gosling still in his western outfit, America was seen filming her sequences with Margot and Ryan.
Both Ryan and Margot were photographed earlier in the week wearing the identical clothing, which was also the case when they were seen together.
Greta Gerwig will serve as the movie’s director, and one of the other prominent names in the movie is the United States of America.
