Well, this is certainly shocking! In an unprecedented move, it has come to light that Batwoman’s lead star, Ruby Rose will be exiting the series after only one season, prompting CW to recast the role in the Arrowverse show.
It remains to be seen if it is indeed Kate Kane’s role that will be recast or whether we’ll have a new Batwoman on the block. But in any case, it’s certainly a difficult task for CW. The television network has also gone on to hint that the new actress to take on the role will also be a member of the LGBTQ community.
