Reese Witherspoon actress and husband Jim Toth Hollywood agent announced divorce after almost 12 years of marriage. The couple was having their 12th anniversary last Sunday and a few days before their anniversary they made a joint public announcement of divorce.
The couple made an official statement regarding their divorce on their Instagram page and calls it a “difficult decision”.
“It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”

She also shared that their “biggest priority is their 10 years old son Tennessee and the entire family as they navigate through this next chapter.”
Who Is Reese Witherspoon?
The American actress Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon (47) is the world’s highest-earning actress to Forbes magazine. The actress started her career in 1991 by debuting in The Man in the Moon. Later on, she did acting in many movies – Election, the romantic movie Sweet Home Alabama, and Walk the Line- a musical biopic. She got name and fame for her role in Legally Blonde (2001) for her character Elle Woods and even in 2005 she won Academy Award for best actress for her performance in Walk the Line.

A source told People, “They really are the best of friends and this is such an amicable decision. They are so committed to co-parenting together. They are invested in their whole family and making this as smooth as possible for everyone.”

Toth, now ex-husband of Witherspoon, earlier used to work in CAA (Creative Artists Agency) in the motion pictures talent department which presents top talents of Hollywood.
He also worked with Reese in a few of her businesses like HELLO SUNSHINE and DRAPER JAMES
The reason for the divorce of couple is not confirmed yet but it is being heard that the two just don’t have the same feelings anymore for each other. Moreover, they don’t have anything with common interest now except taking care of their only son, after the sale of their company HELLO SUNSHINE which gave them a huge amount of money.
In addition to this, different working backgrounds and busy schedules can also be added to the reasons for the divorce.
