Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films is a production business that Randall helped to start, and he currently serves as the company’s chairman (EFO Films). More than one hundred movies and television shows have been credited to Emmett as a producer.
As of the time, this article was written, the worldwide box office receipts for Randall’s films total more than $1.2 billion. The reality television show “Vanderpump Rules,” on which Randall Emmett appeared alongside his fiancée Lala Kent, is largely credited with expanding his public profile.
Financial Problems
In the middle of the year 2021, Randall filed a petition with the court requesting a reduction in the amount of child support he had to pay to his ex-wife Ambyr Childers.
In the legal filings, Randall made a motion to the court to vacate an order that will take effect in January 2021 and compels him to keep a sum of money equal to fifty thousand dollars in order to pay for his child’s extracurricular activities. He went on to say that he was in need of the relief since he owed the IRS somewhere in the neighborhood of half a million dollars.
When he submitted the paperwork, he stated that as part of a structured payment plan, he was handing over $15,000 per month to the Internal Revenue Service and $10,000 per month to American Express. His attorneys asserted in a document that:
If Randall is compelled to keep making these payments, he will inevitably rack up more and more debt until he is in a position where he has no choice but to declare bankruptcy.

Randall, speaking only for himself, elaborated as follows:
Because I only produced one movie in 2020, as opposed to numerous in normal years, my revenue has significantly decreased, and as a result, I am having trouble keeping up with my financial obligations.
Early life
In March of 1971, Randall Emmett was born in the city of Miami, Florida. Before making the move to Los Angeles in the middle of the 1990s, he attended classes at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
After moving to Los Angeles, he found work almost immediately as an intern for the producer Jerry Bruckheimer. After that, he became an employee of the talent agency known as International Creative Management. He became friends with Mark Wahlberg through ICM, and Wahlberg finally asked “Randy,” as he is also known, to work as his personal assistant.
There is speculation that Randy served as at least some degree of motivation for the creation of the character “Turtle” on the show “Entourage,” which Wahlberg executive produced.
EFO Films
In 1998 Randall created Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films, abbreviated as EFO Films. The name “Furla” derives from the producer George Furla, who used to be an executive at a wealthy hedge fund. Oasis Films is a financial holding company that is located out of Dubai.
In the year 2000, the firm produced its debut movie, which was a remake of “Escape to Grizzly Mountain” that was released exclusively on DVD. During the same year, the business worked on the production of a live CD for the comedian Andrew Dice Clay.
The business has, over the course of its existence, perfected a recipe for financial success that involves the production of movies on extremely limited budgets in nations with favorable tax incentives. Actors like Bruce Willis, Robert De Niro, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, Al Pacino, Steven Seagal, and Sylvester Stallone, are getting on in years and are willing to accept a huge paycheck for doing relatively little effort, frequently star in these types of movies. After that, the movie is mostly distributed in other countries and through on-demand streaming platforms in the United States.

The following are some examples of EFO films:
Half Past Dead, Wonderland, Loverboy, Edison, The Wicker Man, 88 Minutes, Finding Rin Tin Tin, Rambo, Day of the Dead, Playback, Empire State, Escape Plan, 2 Guns, Lone Survivor, Vice, Heist, Amityville: The Awakening, Aftermath, and Silence are some of the movies that have been nominated for an Academy Award.
EFO was also responsible for producing the television series “Power” for Starz, which aired for a total of six seasons between the years 2014 and 2020.
Personal Life
Ambyr Childers, an actress, was Randall’s ex-wife in a previous marriage. Before they divorced in 2015, they were parents to two children together. In December of 2017, they formalized their divorce and split up. It became public knowledge in 2018 that Randall Emmett was involved in a romantic relationship with Lala Kent, also known as Lauren Burningham, who is a reality show star on the Bravo show Vanderpump Rules.
50 Cent Feud
In the month of April 2019, rapper 50 Cent engaged in a heated battle with Randall and Lala via social media. After watching Lala boast about Randall’s gift of a Range Rover to her on TV, 50 posted a series of angry remarks to Instagram, which is where the beef all started. The rumor has it that 50 is furious with Randall because he purportedly owes him one million dollars in connection with their show Power. After much back and forth, the feud was finally resolved in private.
Dan Bilzerian Lawsuit
Dan Bilzerian, a prominent figure on social media platforms, filed a lawsuit against EFO in 2013, alleging that the production company breached an agreement to give him eight minutes of screen time in the film “Lone Survivor” in exchange for an investment of one million dollars. As a result of Dan’s participation in more EFO movies, the decision to abandon the suit was made, and tensions were eventually resolved.
