Without gaming consoles, there is no use of games and it is quite obvious. Mainly two consoles are ruling the market. They are PlayStation Consoles and Xbox Console. Both are created by two leading Tech companies, Sony and Microsoft. These two tech leaders are going to bring next-gen of gaming consoles, PlayStation 5 and X box Series X.
PlayStation 5
Sony Interactive Entertainment released PlayStation on 3rd December 1994. Since then, we already have four PlayStation consoles. And now we are going to have PS 5.
PS5 is Sony’s Next-generation Console. It will have AMD chips (CPU and GPU), 3D audio supported along with 4K graphics and ray tracing. The CPU has Zen 2 microarchitecture and an eight-core chip with a next-gen controller. PS5’s Blu-ray discs support game streaming and digital download. It will allow players to install part of the games that they want to play.

Xbox Series X
Microsoft developed this upcoming home video game console. It is a part of the Xbox gaming console family. Xbox series X is also known as Project Scarlett and will be released in 2020.
Xbox Series X supports Ultra HD Blu-ray, CD, and DVD. It has custom 3.8 GHz AMD 8 –core Zen 2 CPU along with 1TB storage. This model also supports custom 1.825 GHz AMD Radeon EDNA 2 architecture graphics with a 4th generation Xbox controller. It has a 16 GB GDDR6 SDRAM with support of 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4K UHD, and 8K UHD display.
PS5 and Xbox Series X May Showcase Sooner Than Expected
Initially, Sony and Microsoft planned to showcase those consoles on the E3 event, but it has been canceled officially now. That’s why expertise is expecting that they may showcase the consoles soon. E3 was going to take place in between 9-11 June. It is already late April, so “soon” means that the showcasing may happen in May.
Sony and Microsoft are working on the devices. Microsoft revealed many things about Xbox Series X while Sony only revealed the PS5 controller. It indicates that the companies have their plans about the release. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, everything is happening without any rules. Let’s see if this will also apply to these upcoming major showcasing events or not.
