Scott Hall, a former wrestler and member of the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame who rose to prominence as “Razor Ramon” during the peak of his career in the 1990s, has passed away, according to the WWE.

Scott Hall, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, passed away recently, and the WWE is deeply saddened by the news. WWE expresses their condolences to Hall’s family, friends, and fans upon his passing “The WWE confirmed this in a tweet sent out on Monday.

In the 1980s, Hall competed for a number of different companies across the country before signing with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991, according to the WWE website. Hall joined the WWE in 1992 and rose through the ranks to become a four-time Intercontinental champion under the ring name Razor Ramon.

According to the statement, his matches against fellow wrestler Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X and SummerSlam 1995 are “both regarded all-time classics by fans and industry insiders alike.” When Hall re-joined the WCW in 1996, he wrestled under his actual name as a member of the popular wrestling organisation nWo (New World Order), which included legends such as Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash, among others.

Several years after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as Razor Ramon, Hall was inducted again as a member of the New World Order (nWo) in 2020, according to WWE.

Scott Hall, a veteran WWE wrestler, has passed away at the age of 61. He had reached the age of 63.

It was announced on the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) website on Monday that Hall had gone away. “WWE is heartbroken to learn of the passing of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall,” the statement said.

In an earlier storey on Monday, the pro wrestling journal PW Torch stated that Hall was in critical condition in a Georgia hospital following complications from hip replacement surgery earlier in the month. According to the outlet, he reportedly experienced three heart attacks over the course of the weekend.

After Hall’s friend and former pro-wrestling colleague Kevin Nash posted on Instagram Sunday night that Hall will be taken off life support once “his family is in place,” it appeared that Nash was right.

It was noted in the WWE’s statement on Hall that he was “hugely influential,” and that Hall began his wrestling career in 1984, among other things. In 1991, he debuted as The Diamond Studd in the World Championship Wrestling organisation.

One year later, Hall signed with WWE and debuted the popular wrestling gimmick Razor Ramon, which helped him to become a four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion in his first year of competition.

He was involved in historic feuds with Kevin Nash, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels before returning to WCW in 1996 and co-founding the nWo (New World Order) with Nash and Hulk Hogan, two other legendary wrestlers.

WCW’s success in the late 1990s was aided by the presence of the villainous trio, which briefly elevated the business to the top of the pro wrestling industry. After WCW was purchased by WWE in the early 2000s, the two continued to wrestle as members of the New World Order.

Hall has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice since his retirement from the ring, once as Razor Ramon in 2014 and again as a member of the New World Order in 2020, according to the WWE’s official announcement.

Nash said on social media on Sunday that he was “about to lose the one person on this earth with whom I’ve spent more time than anybody else” and that he was “going to lose the one person on this planet with whom I’ve spent more time than anyone else.”

“My heart is broken and I’m so very f—g sad. I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present.”

“I’ve been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and I him,” Nash added. “When we jumped to WCW we didn’t care who liked or hated us. We had each other. … We were the ‘Outsiders’ but we had each other.”

Continued by Nash,”Scott always felt he wasn’t worthy of the afterlife. Well God please have some gold-plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was enriched with his take on life. He wasn’t perfect but as he always said ‘The last perfect person to walk the planet they nailed to a cross.’ As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again. See Ya down the road Scott. I couldn’t love a human being any more than I do you.”

Scott Hall Life and Career

Scott Oliver Hall was a professional wrestler in the United States from 1958 to 2022. Aside from his stints in the WWE and World Wrestling Federation, he was best known as Razor Ramon for his time in both organisations.

Razor Ramon was Hall’s ring moniker when he signed with the WWF in May 1992, and he rose to fame as a result. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship four times while working for the company.

In May 1996, he left the business and defected to WCW, where he joined Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash as a founding member of the New World Order (nWo) faction. As a wrestler, he won the WCW US Heavyweight Championship twice, the WCW TV World Championship once, and the WCW Tag Team Championship nine times.

His departure from WCW in February 2000 was followed by a brief return to the WWF (later known as WWE) in 2002. Wrestling for numerous organisations like as Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), NJPW, and TNA, where he once shared the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Kevin Nash and Eric Young, occupied the remainder of his professional career.

A one-time global champion in the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship is still a world champion even though he has never won an international championship in a major company. In 2014, he was honoured as a singles combatant into the WWE Hall of Fame; in 2020, he will be inducted again as a member of the nWo.
