Introduction (Presidential Elections)
The race to the win has started. Just a couple of months to go and we will get the 46th president of the United States Of America who will challenge the incumbent Donald Trump running as the Republican candidate. The Democrats have been campaigning and debating over the last year for their presidential candidates.
Kamala Harris who dropped out of the presidential race last December is all set to support Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate for the upcoming election challenging Trump. The California Senator endorsed Biden in her full might and said that latter had served the country with full dignity and honour and that they needed him now more than ever.
Biden’s support seems to be soaring as he won 10 out of 14 states and the race within the Democrats has now become a contest between Biden and left-wing contender Senator Bernie Sanders.
Harris’ Twitter Post (Presidential Elections)
Recently Harris took to Twitter to show her support for the 77year old Democrat and recorded her message on Twitter. She said, “I really believe in him and I have known him for a long time. Taking a dig on Trump she added, “We need a leader who really does care about the people and therefore unify the people.”
Biden later thanked Harris for her heartwarming message for him and acknowledged the fact that her whole career she has fought for people who have been written off or left behind. He thanked not alone but on behalf of his entire family.
Harris Versus Biden (Presidential Elections)
It was like a clash of Titans when Harris ran last year for the presidential elections. She spoke clearly against Biden when he opposed a policy that combated segregation in schools.
Alleging him as an “upfront racist” she said that it deeply upset her to hear that he talked about the reputations of two senators who have built their reputations and career on the segregation of race and ethnicity in this country.
On the other hand, Jill Biden, Joe’s wife denied Harris’ allegations against her husband highlighting him as “racist”. She said that Biden got into politics because of the civil rights.
The US presidential elections are due on November 3rd, 2020.
