Hamad Bin Khalifa called Obama ‘slave’ in leaked Gaddafi recording
The Conversation
Former Qatari emir, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani called former US President Barack Obama a “slave” and “silly”.
This was report according to a leak audio recording.
It captured a conversation between the emir and the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
Qatari opposition released the recording and the activist who did, goes with the name Khalid Al-Hail.
This was report in Al-Arabiya English.
However, the report said Al Arabiya English could not verify the authenticity of the recording.
Procession
The former emir says this about Obama- “God curse him… that slave… he is silly. I swear Muammar, he is silly”.
A recording of the same kind between Qatar’s former emir and Gaddafi was release in 2017 as well.
Therein, the two attack Saudi Arabia and the ruling family therein.
In another recording leak from the same year, a similar instance was records.
Gaddafi and former prime minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim were caught.
They can reportedly be heard discussing plans to carve up entire Saudi Arabia.
What Next
Hamad Bin Jassim, however, did not deny the recording and said that the issue was discuss to appease Gaddafi.
In 2013, Sheikh Hamad handed over power to his son, current Emir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani.
Hamad Bin Jassim, then, stepped down from his positions right after.
He now reportedly has not-a-very-beautiful-relation with the current emir.
Gaddafi was torture and kill on Oct. 20, 2011, when rebel fighters took control of his hometown Sirte.
Nonetheless,this was a part of an uprising that deposed his regime and led to the subsequent civil war in the country.
Calling Obama a slave obviously now levels up the entire case of racism which has always been prevalent in the society.
A thing like this coming out of the mouth of a national leader is as baffling as it is pitiful.
