Nicole Thea, a YouTube star known for her videos about pregnancy, is dead at 24.
Thea was pregnant, and it’s unclear what caused her death. This is the saddest news so far for all her family, friends and followers.
Her mother shared the news in an Instagram Post this Sunday, which read:
“To all Nicole’s friends and supporters, it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.”
“As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.”
Her last video showed a behind-the-scenes at a pregnancy shoot. It was posted on Sudnay itself.
In addition to her work as a blogger on YouTube, Thea was also a dancer.
She also had her own line of jewellery and eyelashes called the Thea Collection.
The London-based influencer’s family confirmed the news on Sunday in an Instagram post, stating that Thea’s unborn son had also died.
The reason behind her sudden death is yet to be found out.
The message from her mother explained that Thea had pre-scheduled “a few YouTube videos” to upload on her channel before her death.
Even her boyfriend, Boga, had “made the decision to allow them to be aired.”
Thea had amassed more than 80,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Therein, she often discussed her pregnancy journey and posted content featuring boyfriend Global Boga — real name Jeffery Frimpong.
He is a street dancer as well, just like Thea herself.
Her most recent video, titled “GOT IN A BATH FULL OF MILK! *BTS PREGNANCY SHOOT” was uploaded on Sunday.
On Saturday morning, Boga shared a video of himself dancing with a baby carriage and said in a post the week before that he believed his son was arriving “on a Monday.”
What a shame we won’t be able to see more of her and of course her unborn child, about whom she must have had a hell lot of dreams.
May her soul rest in peace and may God give strength to her family and friends. Amen.
