Rapper and songwriter YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who is also known as NBA YoungBoy, has accumulated a net worth of $6 million over the course of his career. Between the years of 2015 and 2017, he published six independent mixtapes, which led to his initial breakthrough in the public eye.

After this, he rose to prominence with the release of the track “Outside Today,” which was taken from his first album titled “Until Death Call My Name.” His popularity continued to soar in 2019, as seen by the success of his single “Bandit” and his album “Al YoungBoy 2,” which topped the charts.

NBA Youngboy Early Life And Career Beginning

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known by his stage moniker YoungBoy Never Broke Again, was born in the year 1999 in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Because his father was serving a term of 55 years in jail, the most of his upbringing was done by his paternal grandmother. Gaulden sustained a broken neck as a child as a result of his participation in a wrestling match. He was forced to wear a head brace, which resulted in scarring on his forehead.

After he dropped out of high school as a teenager, he was caught for robbery and sent to a correctional camp in Tallulah, Louisiana. It was there that he began crafting lyrics for songs he would later record.

At the time of Gaulden’s release, his grandma had already gone away. As a result, he moved in with his good buddy and fellow rapper NBA 3Three, with whom he engaged in illegal activity to make money for studio time.

2015 saw the release of Gaulden’s debut mixtape, which was given the moniker “Life Before Fame.” After this, he released a string of further mixtapes, some of which were titled “Mind of a Menace,” “Before I Go,” and “38 Baby.” The latter of these mixtapes featured appearances by fellow rap artists Stroke Tha Don and Boosie Badazz. Gaulden subsequently gained a significant amount of attention as a result of his high-profile dispute with the rapper Scotty Cain, during which the two of them exchanged death threats through the medium of music.

When Gaulden was taken into custody in Austin, Texas, on accusations of attempted first-degree murder, he attracted even more attention to himself. While he was locked up in East Baton Rouge Parish, he reissued two of the mixtapes that he had previously distributed.

In August of 2017, Gaulden released a new mixtape titled “Al YoungBoy.” This came shortly after the video for his song “41,” which had a star-studded cast, was made available online. His most successful album to date, it debuted at number 24 on the Billboard 200 and was responsible for the release of the hits “Untouchable” and “No Smoke.”

In 2018, the track “Outside Today” achieved an even greater level of popularity by climbing all the way up to number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Gaulden published his first studio album, titled “Until Death Call My Name,” not long after this event, and it reached its highest position on the Billboard 200 chart at number seven.

Additionally in the year 2018, Gaulden disseminated a new mixtape with the title “Master the Day of Judgement.” During the summer of the same year, he released a collection of four extended plays (EPs), each of which had four tracks. After that, he distributed two further mixtapes under the titles “Decided” and “Realer.” Due to the fact that he makes frequent exclusive releases on YouTube, Gaulden was recognised as one of the platform’s top music artists by the time January 2019 rolled around.

NBA Youngboy Criminal Activity

Gaulden has a long history of involvement in illegal behaviour, dating back before he began his professional career and continuing throughout it. In November of 2016, he was arrested in Austin, Texas, for one of his offences, which consisted of leaping out of a car and opening fire on a group of pedestrians. This was one of his offences.

As a direct consequence of this, he was arrested and charged with two charges of attempted first-degree murder. Gaulden was given a sentence of ten years in jail and three years of active probation; however, the ten-year prison term was suspended, and the aggravated assault with a firearm charge that he pleaded guilty to was reduced to a lesser charge.

Later, at the beginning of 2018, he was arrested and incarcerated for allegedly committing assault, abduction, and firearms offences; he was freed shortly after on bail. The allegations against him are as follows:

After being fired at by a suspect in a black Cadillac Escalade in the year 2019, Gaulden opened fire in retaliation while he was on probation. Gaulden was found to have broken the terms of his probation by being in the company of Trulondrick Norman and Ben Fields. The charges for the shooting itself were dropped, but Gaulden was held accountable for the violation. As a consequence of this, he was found guilty and given a sentence of 90 days in jail.

Additionally, he was prohibited from performing for a period of 14 months while he was under home arrest. In September of 2020, Gaulden was one of 16 persons arrested in Baton Rouge for offences involving the creation and distribution of narcotics as well as the possession of stolen guns. Gaulden was among those charged with other crimes during this time.

Gaulden was arrested once more the following year on a federal warrant, which he attempted to evade by fleeing on foot as federal authorities tried to pull over his car. However, he was ultimately apprehended and placed under arrest.
