The NFL legend spent some quality time with his baby girl.
Brittany Mahomes is currently spending quality time with her family.
On Wednesday, August 28, the 28-year-old former soccer player shared a video of her husband, Patrick Mahomes, who is also 28, reading with their 3-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye.
“My heart,” she wrote over an Instagram Stories boomerang of the father-daughter duo laying on a sofa while looking at a book together. Brittany added a teary-eye and white heart emoji and tagged the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
After backlash, Brittany posted something on Aug. 13 that appeared to be a like of a tweet made by former president Donald Trump. Those who criticized the proprietor of Kansas City Current for her purported political views received a message later.
On Monday, August 26, she shared a comment from another user on her Instagram Stories, saying, “Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.”
“Read that again!” she added beneath the remark.
Brittany has persisted in sharing summertime family-friendly stuff on social media despite the current turmoil, including the announcement that their family will soon be growing.
Brittany and Patrick are parents to a boy named Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 1, in addition to Sterling. And on July 12, the pair disclosed that their family would soon grow to five members.
They posted an Instagram Reel with the caption, “Round three, here we come 🤍.”
The high school sweethearts, who have been married since 2022, coupled with Sterling and Bronze in the video announcement. The quartet wore white and neutral-colored clothing. As they took turns holding Brittany’s ultrasound pictures, the family was beaming.
The family came together once more the following week for yet another social media announcement, this time to disclose the gender of baby No. 3.
The Super Bowl champion and his spouse announced their impending second baby girl’s arrival on Instagram on July 19. The post was a happy collaboration between the two of them.
They played a game of Tic Tac Toe to set the stage for the big reveal, and they won by getting three pink Xs in a row. Sterling waved a “big sister” banner with pride, and the scene was completed with pink smoke and matching confetti.
Brittany has started posting pictures of her kids and herself cheering for Patrick throughout the NFL preseason more recently.
Aug. 17: “Gamedays are here ❤️💛,” she wrote as a caption for an Instagram carousel. The pictures displayed the family cheering the professional athlete on from the sidelines.
On September 5, the Kansas City Chiefs will play their first regular season game against the Baltimore Ravens.
