Messenger Rooms Started To Get Available For Some WhatsApp Users
A feature allowing 50 participants in one video call was already on the talk for WhatsApp by Facebook. It was after the great success of the Zoom application during the lockdown and everything. Facebook was working on it for a while. After all, some WhatsApp beta versions of Android and iOS shows the Messenger Rooms feature in it.
Users can jump straight from WhatsApp to the other application and make use of the new feature. Although, it is not available for every WhatsApp users yet. Selected countries and selected users are only capable to use it now. That means, it is not a sure thing that you can use the feature by switching to a beta version. It was already said that it would be integrated into most of the messaging and calling app comes under Facebook.
Everything Is Available Even Without An Account
The Messenger Rooms will be available for everyone if the first test becomes a success. What makes it special is that you never need a Facebook account to join the call. Besides, it also provides the feature of virtual background insertion like in the Zoom. After all, WhatsApp itself saw some improvements in the past weeks. The maximum participants limit upgraded to 8 from 4.
Facebook is not only the rival to Zoom. Google and many other video calling apps started upgrading their apps with amazing features. Whatever happened here, the users of every application are happy now. Because users get many good experiences from their favorite applications. Another cross-over between all messaging apps were also in talks of Facebook in the previous year.
