Mama 2 is about two young girls who are abandoned in a forest cabin when their mother is murdered. They were there protected by an unknown entity called, “Mama”. After 5 years, they are discovered by their uncle named, Lucas. Lucas and his girlfriend both did to take them to their new suburban home.
Now, the fans have been wondering for the next sequel (Mama 2).

Mama 2- Plot
The film (Mama 2) begins with a different man having financial crisis. This incident leads him to kill his beautiful wife and innocent colleagues. Moreover, he drives his 2 daughters in a cabin which is deep inside the forest. He drives them there to kill them. But luckily, the girls were saved by an unknown (strange) entity. That strange entity killed that man (father of the girls).
Then after 5 years, they are found by their father’s brother (uncle), Lucas. He has been running a search party for the girls.
Ultimately, the girls feel surprise and happy as they welcomed to a new home with Lucas and his girlfriend, Annabel. They (Lucas and his girlfriend) both become their (the girls) new parents.

Very soon, they realized that the protective strange entity which saved them in the forest has followed them to their new home. After some time, Lucas was attacked by the entity ‘Mama’. The attack was that much serious which sends Lucas to coma. Then Annabel takes care of the girls. Annabel dislikes commitment and motherhood because she is an independent woman.
Despite this, she hesitantly takes good care of the sisters Victoria and Lily.
Later, they came to know that the strange entity “Mama” is Edith Brennan. He is a mentally ill asylum patient from the 1800s. He escaped asylum for her cute baby, Brennan. Then he jumps off the cliff with her girl, but there the baby got struck on a branch and drowns to death.
Edith Brennan then searches her lost baby in the forest, but found the two girls and thought them as her own.
The rest of the story (movie) is based on the battle for custody. That battle is between Annabel (who hates motherhood) and a dead woman, Edith (who will do anything for the girls). At the end, Edith Brennan jumps off the same cliff with Lily. But, Victoria chooses to move on and stays behind.
