A common reaction to hearing the word Aladdin is to envision the Walt Disney Company’s iconic portrayal of the Arabian prince in a magic carpet. The character’s origins, on the other hand, maybe traced all the way back to 16th-century folk stories that have served as inspiration for a variety of writers throughout history.
Some stories involving the child and his genie have even made their way into manga and anime, the most well-known of which is unquestionably the “Magi” film franchise. The story follows Aladdin as he comes face to face with a genie and travels on a series of wonderful adventures, which is similar to other versions of the well-known tale. Alibaba and Morgiana, two of his buddies who are also based on characters from those ancient tales, appear alongside him in this episode of the show.
An anime television series based on Shinobu Ohtaka’s manga series of the same name was launched in 2012 and broadcast from 2012 to 2014. Even though “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad” was a spin-off of the program, fans have waited for an opportunity to see the original narrative again on the small screen. Seven years is a long time to have to wait for the next installment, but it’s possible that all hope is not gone after all.

They are the actions described in Magi-like surroundings 15 years after the events in Magi: Adventure of Sinbad if we look at things chronologically.
A decade ago, the series, which is set in a mysterious universe and has several buildings referred to as “dungeons,” began airing. When these prisons first opened their doors, hundreds of people and armies attempted to break into them in order to get access to their wealth and the tremendous capabilities that each dungeon contained.
As a result, even though many people determined, no one succeeded, and any human who entered these dungeons would not be noticed or monitored. This was the backdrop against which a younger kid named Sinbad grew up to become the first person to overcome some of these figures 15 years ago when he was just 14.
This show is produced to demonstrate that magi — well-known prophets who are also kingmakers – may infiltrate these prisons, provide support, and ultimately prevail over them.

As opposed to the prequel, which focused on Sinbad and his adventures while these dungeons were still populous and unconquered. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic takes place 15 years after Sinbad’s advancement and follows the adventures of a younger mage known as Aladdin across the labyrinth.
Who Will Be in the Next Season of Magi?
The voice cast for “Magi” Season 3 has not yet been announced, although it is reasonable to presume that the original voice actors will repeat their roles in the series. Previously, Kaori Ishihara — whose other credits include “Digimon Adventure tri.” — played Aladdin in the series’ earlier chapters, and fans are hopeful that she will reprise her role in this sequel. Ishihara, on the other hand, has had a busy year so far, having offered her voice skills to films such as “Combatants Will Be Dispatched,” “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid,” “Black Clover,” and “Higehiro,” as well as television shows. Hopefully, she has scheduled time for “Magi” in her busy schedule.
The possibility of Yûki Kaji returning to the series as Alibaba will be a big asset for the third season, assuming that he does so. The actor’s fame has only risen since the conclusion of the final “Magi” adventure, as he has appeared in such series and films as “Attack on Titan,” “Psycho-Pass,” “Gantz:O,” “Weathering with You,” and a slew of other films and television shows that showcase the anime medium at its finest.

The primary cast was completed by Haruka Tomatsu, who portrayed Morgiana in the previous installment. While she’s also had a successful year in 2021, featuring in dramas like as “Horimiya” and “Peach Boy Riverside,” there is little doubt that she has some unfinished business in the “Magi” realm. It is unclear whether or not the original gang will reassemble, although there has been no indication that they will do so thus far.
What Is Magi Season 3 All About?
At the time of this writing, nothing is known about the narrative of “Magi” Season 3, although it is expected to continue Aladdin’s trip around the globe, where he will meet a variety of friends and opponents. The series is, first and foremost, about adventure, and the third episode is certain to provide plenty of it.
At the time of this writing, Studio A-1 Pictures has not offered any big updates, but fans may expect more adult narratives as the series has progressed and become more daring in its storytelling. The second season dealt with issues such as war, political intrigue, and socioeconomic hardship, which resulted in plot arcs that were more ethically ambiguous than the first. With the characters appearing to be older and wiser in the upcoming episode, the program will be able to take greater risks.
Previous seasons also included aspects from a number of stories from the “1001 Arabian Nights” collection, which initially highlighted Aladdin’s travels and was adapted for television. Because there are still lots of concepts to mine from that source material and apply to an exciting adventure-themed anime like “Magi,” Season 3 is very certain to carry on the legacy established by Season 2.
