Childhood

Tragedies
Durk’s cousin, McArthur “OFT Nunu” Swindle, was assassinated in his home. Durk’s buddy and manager, Uchenna OTF Chino Dolla Agina, was assassinated the following year, in March of the following year. On November 6, 2020, Lil Durk’s close buddy King Von was assassinated in Atlanta, Georgia. Dontay “DThang” Banks Jr., Durk’s brother, was brutally killed in a nightclub on June 6, 2021, while celebrating his birthday. Durk was the victim of a house invasion in July 2021, which took place in his neighborhood. Following the discharge of firearms by him and his fiance, the suspects fled the scene. Legal Thriller
Lil Durk continued to have run-ins with the law after being charged with possessing a weapon in 2011. After being released on bond for an additional 87 days, he was re-arrested and sent to prison. One guy was killed and Lil Durk’s tour bus was damaged in a firefight that occurred just hours before the singer was supposed to perform at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in September 2015. According to accounts, Durk was not involved in the incident and was neither detained nor interrogated by authorities. Dirk was detained in August 2016 on suspicion of criminal guns possession; the charges against him were eventually dropped, and Durk was released.
In June of this year, Durk and his friend King Von were taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder. According to prosecutors, the two men robbed and shot a man outside of a crowded Atlanta drive-in theatre before fleeing the scene. In addition to a Jeep Cherokee and $30,000, they are accused of robbing the man. In exchange for $250,000 and $300,000 bail, Durk and Von were released from jail after only a few weeks in custody.
