Dominique Armani Jones, better known by his stage name Lil Baby, is an American rapper who was born on December 3, 1994, in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Following the release of his mixtape Perfect Timing in 2017, he began to acquire widespread attention.
In 2018, Lil Baby’s debut studio album, Harder Than Ever, was certified Platinum by the RIAA, and the single “Yes Indeed” (which he co-wrote with Drake) peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
After that, he put out a couple of more mixtapes, Drip Harder and Street Gossip, the first of which contained his most successful single, “Drip Too Hard” (featuring Gunna), which peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the second of which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200.
Early Life
Dominique Jonas was born on the 3rd of December in Atlanta, Georgia, to parents who were both teachers. Jones’ father abandoned the family when Jones was two years old. Jones would frequently get into problems, even when he was not having scholastic difficulties, and this eventually led to his dropping out of high school in the tenth grade.

Lil Baby went to Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. The rapper, on the other hand, did not complete his education, dropping out of school in the 10th grade. Jones is the father of Jason, who is the result of a previous relationship between Jones and Ayesha. Sometime in 2016, Jones began a relationship with model and entrepreneur Jayda Chaves. During the video shoot for his song “Close Friends,” she made a guest appearance. It was on February 18, 2019, that Jayda gave birth to their son, Loyal.
Jones and the Floyd family paid a one-year anniversary visit to the White House in May 2021, commemorating the death of George Floyd. Jones also met with Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, on her visit to the country.

‘Perfect Timing’ was Lil Baby’s debut mixtape, released in 2017, which marked the beginning of his rapping career. The album was the result of a collaborative effort by all of Lil Baby’s childhood buddies, who all pitched in to assure the album’s success.
