Luke Mitchell Entry in Fourth Season

In its fourth season, Legacies has cast Luke Mitchell from Agents of SHIELD.

Mitchell, who has previously appeared in Australian drama Neighbours and NBC’s Blindspot, will play Ken, a wicked god on a mission to destroy Hope, the world’s sole tribrid (descending from three supernatural species).

The actor will make his debut appearance in the role on Legacies’ next episode, ‘The Only Way Out Is Through,’ which will premiere on April 7 in the United States.

Mitchell used Instagram to inform his followers of the news.

He captioned a screenshot of the Deadline announcement with a devil emoji and a zipper-mouth face emoji, implying that fans will learn more about his wicked Ken when the show premieres on The CW.

During the second and third seasons of Agents of SHIELD, he played Lincoln Campbell.

Mitchell’s addition to the ensemble isn’t the only surprise in store for the programme in the future.

Hope is in for a small family reunion in an episode planned to air on April 14 that features two characters from The Originals. Kol Mikaelson and Marcel Gerard will be played by Nathaniel Buzolic and Charles Michael Davis, respectively, while Claire Holt (Rebekah Mikaelson) and Riley Voelkel (Freya Mikaelson) will also appear.

“Hope continues to be wrapped in turmoil and fighting her humanity, which leads to her seeing the ones who matter the most to her: Rebekah, Marcel, Kol, and Freya,” according to the synopsis for the episode.

Legacies is a spin-off of The Originals and The Vampire Diaries that follows Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), a descendant of some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines.

The character was initially presented as the daughter of Original vampire Klaus Mikaelson and Crescent werewolf Hayley Marshall in the television series The Originals.

Episode 13 of Legacies Spoilers

Legacies Season 4

You’d think I’d been’shipping Ben and Jed for years, given how much I wanted them to kiss this week, despite the fact that they’ve only known each other for a few episodes. Maybe it’s the palpable chemistry between the alpha werewolf and the brooding demigod, or maybe it’s because I’m pleased that Legacies has finally given Jed a legitimate purpose — and a homosexual one!

This week, Jed tried to keep his cool around his new crush, but when Ben stated that he was leaving the Salvatore School to attract monsters (due to Hope breaking his cloaking bracelet), Jed realised he had to do something to persuade him to stay. “What’s up, bro?” Ben asked, making Jed feel more at ease by speaking to him in his “parlance.”

The clown monster that clamped down on Jed’s neck from behind, on the other hand, was not so charming. Of course, all clowns are horrible, but this one was exceptionally vile. In summary, a group of Roman villagers stuffed all of their wrongdoings into a clown effigy, which they later burnt at a harvest festival. So far, everything has been pretty laid-back. But what if an exiled witch sought vengeance by resurrecting the effigy? Not at all relaxed.

In order to survive, this clown monster’s poison forces its victims to relive their darkest memories, which, as you can imagine, makes it a particularly deadly toxin for it to be squirting about a school like the Salvatore.

For Jed, it meant reliving the moment when his father attempted to force him to fight his childhood friend Trey to the death in front of his mother. Only he was unable to complete the task, and he ended up killing his father instead. ( “Daddy troubles, what a mess!” “Trust me, that’s never a good thing,” Hope remarked over Jed’s sleep-talking frame.

Then it was Hope’s turn to play pranks: the venom transported her back to the night she murdered Landon, forcing her to confront her former self — whom we’ll refer to as Good Hope — face to face. (“I’ve had enough of this clown fantasy, and I’m done with it.”) As Good Hope saw it, turning off her humanity was only a way of dealing with her problems; she asserted that she was actually Good Hope all along.

The clown was slain by Alaric and Cleo before Bad Hope could cut off her head, causing both Hope and Jed to emerge from their trauma comas and begin their journey back to normalcy.

When Jed eventually regained consciousness, everything became crystal obvious — and I do mean everything. Besides recognising Trey as his first crush, he also confessed to Ben that the only reason he became a bully at school was because it is what his father instilled in him. That, however, is not who he is.

“I’ve been wanting to speak with you about it,” he explained to Ben. “I’m writing to tell you that I understand how you’re feeling, and to tell you how I’m feeling.” Ben had a notion of where this was going when he told Jed, “It’s fine if you’re not ready…” Jed, on the other hand, was prepared, giving Ben one of those classic swelling rock music kisses that you can’t help but share on Twitter and Facebook.
