Denis Villeneuve has cast Léa Seydoux in the role of Lady Margot in the upcoming joint production of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures titled Dune: Part Two. This casting move comes on the heels of Léa Seydoux’s critically lauded performances at the Cannes Film Festival.
Seydoux is currently in negotiations and will join the all-star ensemble that includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, and Josh Brolin, all of whom are expected to reprise their roles, as well as Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Austin Butler, who were also recently announced. Seydoux will also be a part of the cast.
This time around, Villeneuve will be writing, directing, and producing. Alongside Villeneuve, Jon Spaihts will be contributing new material to the script.
There was no comment from Legendary. The movie is scheduled to make its debut on October 20, 2023, and production is anticipated to begin in the fall. The film is being produced by Mary Parent, Villeneuve, Cale Boyter, Tanya Lapointe, and Patrick McCormick. Josh Grode, Herbert W.

The protagonist of the story written by Herbert, Lady Margot, has worked for the Sisterhood for a significant amount of time.
Despite the fact that the first Dune movie was released on HBO Max on the same day as it was released in theatres, the movie was still able to do well in theatres, with an opening weekend gross of $41 million.
This was an exceptional result that led to the rapid approval of a Dune sequel a few weeks later. To far, the movie has amassed a total of $400 million in box offices all over the world, including $108 million in the United States.
